We were thrilled to welcome Matty Boreland, newly crowned Irish Super-Bantamweight Boxing Champion, to Millburn Primary School this morning for a very special assembly with our P4 - P7 pupils.

Matty shared the story of his incredible journey in boxing so far, answered some fantastic questions from our curious and confident learners and inspired everyone with his determination and passion. His message of hard work, resilience and chasing your dreams truly resonated with our pupils.

The assembly ended on a high note as Matty proudly showed off his championship belt, along with the shorts and gloves he wore during his unforgettable fight on Saturday night.

A massive thank you to Matty for taking the time to visit us and a huge congratulations on becoming Irish Champion! Your achievements are a knockout inspiration to our school community.
